MarkBook® section 9-3
Student Report - Trend Graph Screens

Reach this screen from the Student Report Screen, section 9-1 by clicking on the Trends tab. This screen provides a graphed summary report for all assessment data entered to date.

This student's achievement has been graphed in red compared to the class average in yellow. Note that several assessments have not been counted and these do not appear on the X-axis of the graph. In fact, these "missing" evaluations have been given a weight of zero using the Weight screen, section 7-6. Or, this student has been forgiven on these entries with a NoMark. There is a scrollable window underneath the graph listing the assessments to date in entry order. To select another student, click on the name toggles at the upper left.

Trend Graph in Entry Order

If Date+ order was selected on the Entries tab, as described in section 9-1, this variation of the Trend Graph will appear. Note that calendar dates are used for the X-axis of the graph and are in the scrollable window below the graph. The order of entries on the graph will match the date order if this is different from the entry order.

Trend Graph in Score Order

Analyze this student's performance by category, as in section 9-2, by clicking on the Categories tab. This will display a new screen with a categories graph. Analyze attendance by clicking on the integers inside the Absent: cell or inside the Late:/Tardy: cell at the bottom. Examples of this display are on the Class Report analysis screen, section 8-1.

Click on the Comments button at the lower right to select comments, as in section 9-4, from the pre-loaded comments file or build your own for each student. These will print on individual reports if you specify that option on the Print screen - see section 9-5.

These graphs print on MarkBook's Student Reports as described in section 9-5. These reports will preserve the Entry or Date orders selected.

Manual: Go to section 9-4 for the individual modal analysis screens.
