What is MarkBook?
MarkBook is a "Class Management Software" package. Have a look at some of the great features offered:
- Class Management: pre-formatted grade recording forms; monthly attendance forms; loaned items (texts, etc.) forms; seating plans (with or without photos); birthday lists.
- Grade Calculation: isolate multiple subjects and/or terms into "Mark Sets"; record assessment and attendance data; automatically calculate overall grades. Determine 'most consistent level' and see 'evidence of most recent'.
- Analysis: analyze both attendance and assessment data for patterns.
- Communication/Motivation: print interim reports complete with trend and consistency graphs; report to students and parents with printed reports and private Email reports; post assessment/attendance data on the web for parents and students; report frequently and spontaneously.
- Help Files: a context-sensitive help is available from within the application at all times, just by pressing F1 on the keyboard.
MarkBook lets educators look and feel good as they convey a professional image to each user... even to teachers with minimal computer skills. Of course, the whole school looks good as a result of the high quality reports generated.

MarkBook 2009 for Windows requires Windows 98SE or higher (XP, Me, 2000, Vista) and a minimum of 20Mb of space on your hard drive for the installation.
To download, click the logo below and choose to save the file to a known location on your hard drive (e.g., the desktop or Temp directory). Once the download is complete, locate the file on your hard drive and double-click the icon. When prompted, choose to Unzip the file to start the InstallShield process. Copy this file to a CD or USB storage device in order to port it to other computers for installation. You may give copies to any and all colleagues.
