January 2010: This file upgrades MarkBook 2009 version 10.0 or higher to version 10.4 with a curriculum course/ unit/ lesson planner. It upgrades the support documents and includes Expectations (Objectives) for use within the planner. Sets of .MSS files for Ontario K-12 and the Canadian ESL Benchmarks are included. Standards-based Assessment is supported with this 10.4 version. Download this file to a known location on your computer or network and unzip it to the location(s) where MarkBook 2009 is already installed. Your current version number is in the upper right corner of MarkBook's "Open A Class" screen and in the Help > About menu.

This is not an installer! Use this file to update only MarkBook 2009 version 10.x already installed on your computer! This update is not for any demo, MarkBook CY or MarkBook AM. If used in an attempt to update a MarkBook 2009 demo, it will render that demo inoperable.

This demo is for schools running academic years starting in August or September and finishing by the end of August 2011. Use it to create '09/'10 classes, '10/'11 classes, print forms, and enter up to five assessments in each of two Mark Sets. Classes and data created with this Demo will remain intact when the full-function version of MarkBook 2010 is purchased and installed.

This "Calendar Year" demo is for schools running an academic year starting in January, February or March 2010 and ending by December 31, 2010. Use it to create classes, print forms, enter up to five assessments in each of two Mark Sets, and print reports. Classes created with this CY demo will remain intact when the full-function version of MarkBook CY 2010 is purchased and installed.

Download the file MarkBook 2008 Demo.zip, unzip it on your computer and then install the demo.

Comment Bank: A self extracting zip with comments teachers may want to download. These are automatically installed with all versions of MarkBook in a folder called C:\MkBk2010\CommentBanks.

  1. Download this file to a known location on your hard drive.
  2. Browse to that folder.
  3. Double-click on Comment_Banks.exe.
  4. Click Unzip.
