October 2011. This file updates MarkBook 2011 to v10.7. This version will export classes to MarkBook: iPad Edition. With the latest ' update from the App Store on your iPad, this version of MarkBook for Windows also imports assessment and attendance data exported from the iPad edition. In MarkBook's Help menu, it installs a revised Reference Manual plus two new guides for the iPad edition. The CNX button has been replaced with the transfer to MarkBook Admin - CNX is now in the Tools menu. The backup routine now creates a dated backup on each use. Teachers can now open any older backup file to view a class at a past point in time. Finally, users or administrators can save a configuration file for Student Reports so that the options are pre-set.

This is not an installer! Use this file to update only MarkBook 2011 already installed on your computer! This update is not for an older version of MarkBook, a demo, MarkBook CY or MarkBook AM. If used in an attempt to update the MarkBook 2011 demo, it will render the demo inoperable.

This demo is for schools running academic years starting in August or September and finishing by the end of August 2012. Use it to create '10/'11 classes, '11/'12 classes, print forms, and enter up to five assessments in each of two Mark Sets. Classes and data created with this Demo will remain intact when the full-function version of MarkBook 2011 is purchased and installed.

This is NOT a demo. This full-function "Calendar Year" version of MarkBook 2011 is for schools running an academic year starting in early 2011 aNd ending by December 31, 2011. This CY 2011 version expires on December 31, 2011, and is here for complimentary trial by any teacher or school.

Once saved, locate and double click that file to begin the installation. Copy this installation file to a USB storage device to install MarkBook CY 2011 on multiple computers. This installation includes all support documentation in MarkBook's Help menu.

This .zip file contains a demo version of MarkBook 2010 for Mac. This demo is limited to five assessment items. Classes and data created with the demo will remain intact after the full-function version is installed.

Download the file MacMB_2010_Demo.dmg.zip, unzip it on your computer and then install the demo.

Comment Bank: A self extracting zip with comments teachers may want to download. These are automatically installed with all versions of MarkBook in a folder called C:\MkBk2010\CommentBanks.

  1. Download this file to a known location on your hard drive.
  2. Browse to that folder.
  3. Double-click on Comment_Banks.exe.
  4. Click Unzip.
